This policy explains how rev-raise.com uses cookies and similar technologies, what each one does, and what choices you have. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy at rev-raise.com/privacy.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage and device identifiers. We use the word "cookies" to cover all of them.
| Type | What it does | Who sets it | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | Keeps the site working. Session state, form submission, security, load balancing. Includes the Cloudflare security cookie (__cf_bm). | Us, our hosting platform (LeadConnector) and Cloudflare | Session to 12 months |
| Functional | Remembers preferences, such as a form you started or a video position. | Us and our course platform | Up to 12 months |
| Analytics | Tells us which pages get read, how long people stay, and where they arrived from. We use it in aggregate; the provider processes IP address, device and event data before aggregation. | Google Analytics, where installed | Up to 26 months |
| Marketing and advertising | Measures whether an ad or a post led to an enquiry, and lets us show relevant ads to people who have visited. Only present while a campaign is running. | Meta (Facebook and Instagram), Google, LinkedIn, where installed | Up to 13 months |
| Attribution | Records which content or campaign a lead came from, so we know what is working. | Our CRM platform | Up to 24 months |
If we add a category, this table changes before the cookie does.
4.1 We do not sell your personal information to anyone for money. We never have.
4.2 Here is the part that deserves a straight answer rather than a slogan. When we run a Meta or Google advertising pixel, information about your visit is shared with that platform so we can measure whether our advertising worked and, in some cases, show you an ad later. We do not receive money for that. But it is data leaving our site and going to a very large advertising company, and if that is what you meant by "selling", we would rather tell you than hide behind a definition.
4.3 You can stop it. Section 6 says how.
We do not use cookies to build a profile of you for sale, and we do not use them to make decisions about you.
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, including blocking them entirely. Blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site. Blocking analytics and marketing cookies will not.
Do Not Track: there is still no agreed industry standard for what a DNT signal means, so our site does not currently respond to it.
Global Privacy Control: we intend to honour GPC signals as a request to disable non-essential cookies. Until that is technically implemented on this site, use the opt-outs in clause 6.2 and your browser controls.
Cookies are separate from marketing messages. To stop those, use the unsubscribe link in any message, or email [email protected]. We action it within 5 business days.
7.1 Third-party providers set their own cookies and are governed by their own policies. The main ones are listed in the table in section 3, and the categories of provider we use are listed in section 8 of our Privacy Policy.
7.2 We do not control what those providers do with the data they collect.
Our site is aimed at Australian businesses, but we deliver virtual sessions anywhere and we do get overseas visitors. If you are in a region with a consent requirement, such as the EU or UK, and you would like non-essential cookies disabled for your visit, email [email protected] and we will confirm how to do it. Section 6 also works from anywhere.
We may update this policy. The current version is always at rev-raise.com/cookies with the date at the top.
