WEBSITE, FREE COURSE AND COMMUNITY TERMS OF USE
These Terms cover using rev-raise.com, our free tools, our free courses and our free community. They apply to everyone.
If you engage us for paid services, the Master Client Terms at rev-raise.com/terms apply to that engagement instead. These Terms do not make you a client and do not bind you to anything commercial.
1. ACCEPTANCE
1.1 By using this website, a free tool, a free course, or a community we operate, you accept these Terms.
1.2 If you do not accept them, do not use them. That is the whole of it.
1.3 You must be 18 or over. Our content and services are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
2. WHAT THIS SITE IS
2.1 This website describes what we do. Nothing on it is a formal offer, a quote, or a contract.
2.2 Prices are in Australian dollars and exclusive of GST unless stated otherwise. Where a price is displayed to an individual buyer, such as an event ticket or the Recorded Course, the total payable including GST is also shown at least as prominently. Prices for scoped work are set in a written Proposal.
2.2A Where you buy through our website checkout, you are choosing to buy from us. Purchasing through the website checkout does not ordinarily create a separate cooling-off period, and payment is taken at the time. Any statutory cooling-off right that applies because of the circumstances in which the agreement was negotiated remains unaffected. Refund positions for each product are in Schedule C at rev-raise.com/terms-training, the Recorded Course carries a 14 day refund, and event tickets carry a refund and transfer ladder. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply in addition and are not affected.
2.3 Nothing on this site, in a free tool, in a free course or in a community is legal, financial, tax, medical or investment advice. It is general business information. Your circumstances are your own.
3. FREE TOOLS, SCORECARDS AND CALCULATORS
3.1 We provide free tools, including scorecards, calculators and diagnostics.
3.2 They are estimates based on the numbers you enter. They are not a valuation, an audit, a forecast or a promise. Outputs depend entirely on the accuracy of your inputs.
3.3 We may store the information you enter and contact you about it. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
3.4 Do not enter anyone else's personal information into a free tool.
4. FREE COURSES AND COMMUNITIES
4.1 What you get
(a) Access to free course content and to a community, for as long as we choose to offer them.
(b) Access is personal to you. One person, one account. Do not share your login.
(c) We may change, suspend, or close a free course or community at any time. Where we close one permanently we will give 30 days notice by email where we reasonably can.
4.2 Your licence to the free content
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the free content for your own learning and for use inside your own business.
You may: watch it, read it, take notes, apply what you learn in your own business, and tell people about it.
You may not:
(a) copy, download, record, screenshot for distribution, republish, transmit, or make the content available to anyone else, other than a short quotation with attribution and a link, as permitted by clause 10 of our Copyright Policy; (b) sell, licence, rent or share access; (c) use the content, or anything derived from it, to deliver training, coaching, consulting or any equivalent service to any other person or business; (d) use the content to create a competing course, program or product; (e) remove or obscure any copyright, trade mark or attribution notice; or (f) use the content, or any part of it, to train, fine-tune, ground, embed, index or prompt any artificial intelligence model, agent, assistant or dataset, whether your own or a third party's.
Clause 4.2(f) applies whether the use is manual, automated, by scraping, by API or by any other means, and it applies to every piece of Rev-Raise content wherever it appears, including our website, our social posts, our videos and our emails.
4.3 What you post in the community
(a) You are responsible for what you post. Keep it lawful, accurate, and not abusive.
(b) Do not post anyone else's confidential information, including your employer's, your clients' or your customers'.
(c) You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, display, reproduce and moderate what you post, for the purpose of running the community.
(d) We may use anonymous, non-identifying observations from community discussion in our content. We will not quote you, name you, or identify your business without your written consent.
(e) We may remove any post and remove any member, at any time, for any reason, without notice and without refund. It is free.
4.4 What the free content is, and is not
The free content gives you the what and the why. It does not give you the how. That is deliberate. It is not an omission, and it is not a bait. The execution detail is the paid product and it stays paid.
5. OUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
5.1 Everything on this site and in our free content is owned by Rev-Raise Group Pty Ltd or used under licence. This includes text, graphics, video, audio, layout, code, frameworks, structures, methodologies and materials.
5.2 The Deliberate Sale™ is a trade mark of Rev-Raise Group Pty Ltd.
5.3 Nothing on this site or in the free content transfers any ownership to you, or grants any right to use our trade marks.
5.4 Publishing something does not make it free to use. Free to read is not free to reuse.
5.5 To report unauthorised use of our material, or to make a copyright complaint, see rev-raise.com/copyright.
6. ACCEPTABLE USE
You must not:
(a) use the site or our systems for anything unlawful; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems; (c) scrape, crawl, harvest or bulk-download content except as a search engine operating within our robots directives; (d) introduce malware, or interfere with the operation of the site; (e) impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your affiliation with any business; or (f) use the site to collect other users' personal information.
7. LINKS AND THIRD PARTIES
7.1 We link to third-party sites and use third-party platforms to host courses, communities and video. We do not control them and we are not responsible for them. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
8. RESULTS AND CLAIMS
8.1 Results described on this site, including case studies and figures, are the results of specific businesses in specific circumstances. They are not a prediction of your results.
8.2 Outcomes depend on implementation, effort, team capability, market conditions and existing business infrastructure. No specific result, revenue outcome or business success is guaranteed.
8.3 Where we publish figures, we publish only what can be traced. There are results we cannot trace, so we do not claim them.
9. AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY
9.1 We do not promise the site, a free tool, a free course or a community will be available, uninterrupted or error-free. They are provided free and as-is.
9.2 Certain guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9.3 Beyond those rights, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site, a free tool, a free course or a community, or from any decision you make based on them.
10. PRIVACY AND COOKIES
10.1 Our Privacy Policy is at rev-raise.com/privacy. Our Cookie Policy is at rev-raise.com/cookies.
10.2 If you give us your email address, we may send you marketing. Every message has an unsubscribe link and we honour it. You can also unsubscribe by emailing [email protected].
11. CHANGES
11.1 We may update these Terms. The current version is always at rev-raise.com/terms-website and applies to your use of the site from the date it is published.
12. GENERAL
12.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
12.2 If a provision is invalid or unenforceable it is severed and the rest continues.
